Lead Organizer

Steve Campbell
Kilowoggy

Steve has been playing Blood Bowl for over 20 years. During that time he has gone from playing in a home league, to attending tournaments, to running tournaments, to doing podcasts and now traveling around the world playing Nuffle's favorite game.
Having been an active member of the community, and NAF itself, Steve has been constantly involved in promoting the game, encouraging and assisting people starting tournaments and growing their community. Serving as the first NAF Regional Coordinator for the Southwest US, he has helped turn an area with almost no NAF tournaments into a thriving area with more and more tournaments each year.

In addition to running events around the world and organizing them, Steve has also had years of experience in Team Management and Training in his professional career. From close knit training of small teams to managing hundreds of people in a fast paced and tightly regulated medically related training environment.

Being intimately familiar with the Dallas area, the venue itself and all that the area offers, Steve is uniquely situated to lead the amazing team that is the Dallas World Cup Bid Committee.

Organizer/Legal

Sean Cowley
Houseblackfyre

Sean’s first blood bowl game was in 2018 at the request of his brother, who runs a local league in and needed an extra player to avoid having bye weeks.  Since that time, Sean has played in almost 150 tournaments, and was the leader in the United States in overall games played for 2021, 2022, and 2023 (he got married to his lovely wife, Julie, in 2024, and has since relinquished that crown, which makes her happy).  Sean has also run twenty-seven tournaments of his own across different Blood Bowl variants – including running the Sevens event at Chaos Cup the past two years (2023’s attendance was the largest Sevens event in NAF history). Currently, Sean is co-commissioner of two tabletop leagues in the Detroit, Michigan area, and also runs one of the largest tabletop FUMBBL leagues for primarily United States coaches.
Sean was Co-Captain for the highest placing American team at World Cup in Alicante, and has attended the past two Eurobowls as the Captain of the United States EurOpen squad.  Sean brings fourteen years of professional experience as an attorney for the United States government, and eleven years as an award-winning professor at a local law school in Detroit.  Sean is passionate about Blood Bowl, and about showing the world what United States Blood Bowl is all about in Dallas.

Bryan has been an avid Blood Bowl enthusiast since 2002. Since then Bryan has played in and run many leagues, including the current Rocky Mountain Blood Bowl League and played in almost 200 NAF tournaments. He has helped build up the blood bowl community in Utah and the Mountain West and is the RCO for the area.  Bryan is the Tournament Organizer for the Rocky Mountain Rampage (the longest consecutively run tournament in the United States behind the Chaos Cup), the Rocky Mountain Ringers Rebellion and helped run the first Amorical Cup in Las Vegas and has been a committee member ever since. Bryan has been a long-standing member of the NAF rules review committee and the World Cup selection committee.  In addition to assisting with blood bowl administration and building up the community, Bryan has been an elite blood bowl coach and mentor for new coaches. He has won over 35 NAF tournaments, including three majors (two Chaos Cups and Spike Magazine Cup), has been to three World Cups (taking 6th overall in Lucca), and is the current captain of United States EuroBowl squad that came in 2nd in 2024. Bryan also has the unique distinction of being the only blood bowl coach in the world to have a NAF ranking of over 170 with all blood bowl races!

Bryan's professional experience in project management and enterprise business agility will be a major asset to the Organizing Team. He has over two decades of experience bringing large groups together to collaborate, align, make decisions and effectively execute projects or events. He brings a calming presence and will help ensure the team works well together and gets everything accomplished in an effective manner. Bryan is super excited to bring the World Cup to the United States and provide an outstanding experience for all participating coaches!

Craig has been involved in Blood Bowl since 2000, starting in a mid-sized league in California, then Massachusetts, and over the past 16 years in Colorado.

He has played and organized several leagues, attended dozens of tournaments including two World Cups (Captaining one squad,), two EurOpens (Captaining one squad), Amorical Cup (Co-Captain), and several Chaos Cups.

Craig has also organized his own tournaments and refereed several local tournaments and Chaos Cup 7s. Craig is also instrumental in organizing, promoting and facilitating the tournament group in the greater Colorado area.

Craig has almost two decades of experience training small groups of professionals, mentoring and coaching colleagues, tutoring teenagers, and succeeded in the highly adaptive environment of medical technology.

Organizer/Financials

Rob Fossey
Malfaxis

I first saw the Blood Bowl 2e box set in my local hobby store way back in 1988 and spent my hard earned paper-route money to bring it home with me. I was hooked after my very first match and launched and ran my first league for a group of friends. I have continued to both run and participate in leagues since then.  In 2003, I joined the NAF and attended my first tournament in Canada (Deathbowl) and then flew to Florida for the Three Kingdoms Challenge. After that, I set up my own event in Boston; The Beantown Brouhaha. I've both attended and TO'ed many events since then. I coordinate most things Blood Bowl in the northeastern United States as part of NEBBN (North East Blood Bowl Network) and run the NEBBN Tournament Series as TSO. I've worked pretty hard to grow the game locally over the last several years and will continue to do so.  I was fortunate enough to attend my first World Cup in Alicante, and look forward to more excursions abroad in the future.

Professionally, I’ve got a Masters degree in Finance and work at Saint-Gobain doing FP&A and financial consolidation for multiple entities. I’ve served as a board member for multiple local sports organizations, as Treasurer for a Boy Scouts Pack, and coached every sport my kids played (with the exception of dance/gymnastics) while they grew up. I know how to work as part of a team to achieve the goals of an organization or group and am looking forward to helping create a very enjoyable and memorable experience for my fellow NAF coaches at World Cup VI in Dallas, TX, USA.

Tom has participated in tattoo conventions and done guest spots all over the east coast and Midwest.

James Luft
LEGION

James has been playing Blood Bowl for more than 25 years and it all started with Doctor Who.

Long story short, a comic book store tv commercial in between Dark Shadows and Doctor Who for Caps Comic Calvacade on Catasqua Road in Allentown, Pennsylvania was the the catalyst for a fun road trip. Coming back from that trip, James was the proud owner of the Champions of Death Blood Bowl team box and started playing random matches, then league play and eventually tournaments.
These days, James has run over 100 NAF Blood Bowl Tournaments featuring every version of the game and has also run the biggest tournament in the USA having over 200 Coaches at CHAOS CUP in 2023.
In addition to be overly passionate about Blood Bowl, James also plays Dungeons & Dragons,
Warhammer Underworlds and Hero Quest. When not gaming, you can usually find James doing carpool karaoke taking yet another road trip to Buc-cees!!!
